About Me.

My skills as a movement artist draw from a wide variety of physical disciplines and choreographic techniques which are rooted in Rudolf Laban and his somatic movement legacy. I was taught and directed by world-leading artists and practitioners of movement, dance and somatics including Valerie Preston Dunlop (student of Rudolf Laban), Janet Kaylo (founder Laban/Bartenieff and Somatic Studies International™), Kirstie Simson (dance improvisation artist), Robert Tannion (DV8) and Sarah Michelson (award winning New York based artist) among many others.

After completing my A-Level and BTEC in Dance I went on to study at one of the UK's leading conservatoires for Contemporary Dance, Trinity Laban. Graduating with a BA and MA I went on to perform, direct and teach nationally and internationally.

These foundational experiences continue to feed into my own artistic practice as a performer, theatre maker and actor trainer as I meet and share my process with others. Music, sound and words are also a massive part of my creative process and I continue to explore different music genres, poetic works and texts throughout my onward journey as an artist.

I love making things move whether is my own creations with STATE OF FLUX or collaborating with others to bring their vision to life.
