TEACHING
Alongside my performance and creative practice, I have led and facilitated professional classes and workshops in movement and dance for various artists and organisations. I've worked with dancers, actors, and musicians. These encounters continue to inspire, enrich, and inform my teaching practice.

My interests and questions stem from experiences dancing in studios, nightclubs and social clubs. What brings us into dancing and moving? How can I sustain a creative dance and movement practice over a lifetime?
​
I am curious about what makes dance 'dance' and how this may differ (or not) from movement and the play between moving and dancing. I am inspired by what keeps us going in the face of adversity, what stokes our fire to dance, and how we can continue to express ourselves through movement in challenging times.
I continue to explore the poetics of space, the use of imagery and language as tools to support my dancing, how the body meets itself in and through space through improvisation, and how my attention can support an availability and playfulness in exploring dancing with others.

I am interested in dancing and moving in groups and how being in relation to others invites the possibility for connection, shared experience, and group composition.
